The implementation of the G7 and G20’s gender policy goals in Germany

Equality policy has been increasingly discussed in the Group of Seven (G7) and the Group of Twenty (G20) in recent years. As a result, the member states of both institutions committed themselves to a number of goals for better equality for women. The study examines the extent to which these goals have been implemented in Germany. Firstly, the gender policy objectives set by the two institutions since 2009 are presented and systematized. Then the current achievement of said goals in Germany is examined and measures taken so far in order to implement the objectives are described.

The W20-Germany cooperation partners of the German Women's Council and the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs have formulated concrete policy recommendations based on this.
